Brief Biography:
Chukwuemeka Nwaneri
MBBS, MA, MSc (Global Health), PhD
Chukwuemeka is presently a visiting senior lecturer in department of Community & Child Health at the University of Chester, and worked as a Clinician at the Wirral Centre for Diabetes & Endocrinology, UK. He also works as a part-time specialist registrar in emergency medicine in the UK.
Before joining the University of Chester, Chukwuemeka was a Research Assistant at the University of Dublin, Trinity College Dublin; researching on the EU-FP 7 project on Global Health. His research interest ranges from diabetes mellitus, endocrinology, cardiovascular, healthcare-associated infection, equity in healthcare & immigrants, and to clinical epidemiology, HIV and cancer epidemiology.
He acquired his primary medical degree; MBBS, from the University of Ibadan Nigeria in May, 2000. In 2007, he had completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Services Management from the Institute of Public Administration Dublin. By 2009 he completed MSc degree in Global Health from Trinity College, University of Dublin. Dr Nwaneri obtained a Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Pubic Management in 2009, and in 2010 completed a MA degree in Healthcare Management from the IPA and the National University of Ireland, Dublin.
