Prof. Christian Ezeala

Brief Biography:

Prof. Christian Ezeala (DLitt et Phil, PhD, MSc, AMLSCN, FHPE, CBiol, MSB, CSci, MICR, MRSNZ) earned MSc and PhD degrees in Pharmacology from the Abia State University, Nigeria and DLitt et Phil degree in Health Studies from Unisa, South Africa. He is a FAIMER Fellow in Health Professions Education, and he also has professional trainings in Translational Medicine, Integrative and Organ Systems Pharmacology, Intellectual Property, and Public Health Sciences. He held faculty positions in Universities in Nigeria and Uganda before joining the Fiji School of Medicine (which is now a constituent college of the Fiji National University) in 2009. He is a professional member of many learned societies and holds a Chatered Scientist award from the Science Council of London, and Chartered Biologist award from the Society of Biology, UK, and Chartered Chemist award from Royal Australian Chemical Institute.

Research interests:

Research interests include Health Professions Education research, biomedical investigations on chronic non-communicable diseases and pharmacological studies on medicinal plants.
