Biography:


I am the Director of Perioperative Medical Services, Director of Trauma Anesthesiology, Founding Member of the Solid Organ Transplantation Anesthesiology Team and Visiting Associate Professor at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh. I serve on and have led numerous committees and societies at the department, hospital, system, university, state, national and international levels. I am a Past President of the International Trauma Anesthesia and Critical Care Society and the West Virginia Society of Anesthesiologists. I went to Medical School at the University of Pittsburgh and completed my Internship at Yale, Anesthesiology Residency and Critical Care Fellowship at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital, and Adult and Pediatric Cardiac Fellowship at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital.
