Brief Biography:
Presently my teaching, research and community service is oriented towards:
Infection models of maternal stressors, Developing histological stains from natural dyes for application in histology, histochemistry and histopathology; including developing a protocol for its use and studying its interaction with different tissues; Multidisciplinary applied/basic medical research, from the standpoint of effects of herbs used in traditional African medicine and endocrine disruptors in human/animal tissues with special interest in male and female reproductive health.
The research area encompasses medical science disciplines: histomorphology and histomorphometry, histopathology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology and biology. Teaching is however directed at embryology and gross anatomy to undergraduate medical and basic medical science students.
