- Other Comments: First of all I would like to congratulate authors for drawing attention towards such a common but less noticed problem of OR environment! I have personally faced this problem of dry eyes while working in OR inspite of the fact that I wear spectacles. It is also true that this problem is more common in Ist or IInd year residents because they are the ones who spent maximum hours in the ORs. Till now I used to shrug off this problem as a minor one,but not any more, thanks to this article I now know the serius implications. Though I have not used Googles eye shield till now, but I will definitely like to advise my residents for its use!

I would like to congratulate the authors for a nice observation of this common problem prevalent among CAs in OR this study also draws the attention on a very important aspect regarding the enviromental conditions in the OR i.e temprature, humidity, ACH.
Further there is a need of multicentric data of the same that can be compiled and analyzed for making the acceptance of eye shielding in ORs as a preventive measure.
